Operation Basket Brigade

County veterans deployed to Edgefield Post Acute on Good Friday, April 18, 2025, with one clear mission: to care for our veterans. As part of Operation Basket Brigade, a goody basket (15 total) donated by Annie Bush of Johnston, was hand-delivered to every veteran resident and the staff who care for them. Each basket was a reminder that no veteran will ever be forgotten. 

The brigade included members of American Legion Posts 30, 154, and 222 and VFW Post 6932, standing side-by-side for this special duty.  

Mission accomplished. Happy Easter.
